By the time they released the games, everyone knew the gym leaders' team, the rivals' team, the E4/Champion's team and their rematches. Hell, even the common trainers were also leaked. The Move Tutors, the Mega stones, the new moves and Hoopa alternate form, and so on. On top of that, the official release trailers and CoroCoro spoonfed us with whatever else we didn't know yet. You didn't need to play it; you already knew its full content. Before the game was even released.
Now, next time, or maybe this year yet -- unless they decide to break the yearly release cycle for whatever reason, since no announcements were made as far as I'm aware of --, don't be a faggot. Refuse the hype train. You guys like to say "NO BRAKES NO BRAKES" for the sake of memes, but now that you know there ARE brakes, you'll only join it if you really want to kill yourself.
And, of course. Never listen to /vp/'s opinion regarding any game, perhaps except MD EoS, because angels and demons alike cannot bring themselves to say it wasn't at least 10/10.
Still, considering how GameFreak are running out of fucks to give, you might still find them bad games. But if hopes were a problem for you, you wouldn't be lurking this place, right?
