My criticism for GSC:

>Phone calls are annoying as fuck when you don't want them, and even if you do want them, you can only have a limited amount of them but you don't know which trainers give good items and which trainers just waste your time
>Special split fucked over a lot of Pokemon (this is unrelated to the fact that it was a much needed change to begin with)
>morning/day/night cycle makes it so that you can't catch a specific Pokemon whenever you want
I really don't know why the fuck gen 2 is so popular and everytime someone calls it out for being nostalgia bait (similiar to gen 1) you're called a contrarian.
I'd love for /vp/ culture to advance beyond accepting criticism for gen 1 to also accepting criticism for gen 2. Thanks for listening to my TED Talk.
