if Gamefreak decided to stop making the core rpg games, Nintendo would buy the development rights from them and Gamefreak would be screwed
of course that would be great because Nintendo could make wonders with the series by developing the games in-house, but the usual stuff Gamefreak barfs out tends to do well enough
