I was lucky enough to catch a Roselia on route 117, which genuinely saved my fucking ass against Wattson.
I lead with Combusken, took out his Magnemite no problem, but then his Voltorb paralyzed me, and knocked Combusken into Red health with self destruct.
So then I switched to Roselia and luckily he was able to eat a shock wave no problem. From there we essentially went head to head in a pretty evenly matched battle of attrition. He paralyzed/confused me while whittling me down with sonic boom, while I paralyzed/leech seeded him while spamming growth boosted mega drains. We even both used 2 super potions. There were a few points where Roselia got closer to death than Id have liked due to hitting himself in confusion but other than that it was a pretty concise victory, I feel very lucky to have gotten away with 0 deaths.
