Getting people to go to your site from ebay is one of the hardest things to do. You are already on one of the biggest stores on the internet and the buyer is protected by ebay.
Overall it doesn't cost much to run your own shopify shop. Start small and plan for growth. Spend money on Ads and figure out SEO. Because once you move from ebay you are a drop in the pond.
