>>49144475>AkloveKind of underwhelming team for the final boss of the plot, but whatever. After my lead Froslass landed the 90% accurate Poltergeist on his Mega Gardevoir and burned his Stakataka, the fight was mostly over - the rival helps you here and actually popped the fuck off, taking out his Tapu Fini and Primal Kyogre with Toucannon and Mega Garchomp helping out a bit.
>MarlonThis on the other hand was a complete pain, because there is basically no way for the rival's Toucannon to live very long and it's his best mon since his Garchomp only knows Dragon Rush. I also have no idea why the player participates in this fight, fuck the rival.
Anyway, had to sack Ninetales and Toxicroak here, it sucks but I'll take it over a wipe.
>Gym Leader BenjaminTeam - Araquanid, Magnezone, Rhyperior, Volcarona, Flygon, Mega Scizor. This guy actually has one of the the most creative gimmicks I've ever seen - Benjamin Butterfree rules, so every time a mon is knocked out, it de-evolves, and once a mon is in its earliest stage its last death is final.
Unfortunately, this kind of gets messed up by a nuzlocke where I would be preventing my mon's HP from reaching 0 regardless, so basically this is just a normal battle against someone who gets weaker over the course of the fight...still, I tried to choose mons that could take the de evolution well if it came to that, Boldore for instance could fill in well for Gigalith. Again. Was mostly another switchfest, his one nasty mon is Scizor as it de evolves back to Technician Scyther which is still a big threat, so I had physically bulky Typhlosion take it out instead of Torkoal.
>>49149766Depends on the game. Gyarados isn't that broken in Gen 2 or 3, but it's definitely a bit too strong afterwards. I usually never use box legends unless I'm playing a romhack (and even then).
>>49145200Good luck for the final Galactic battles!
>>49144790Ah, that is an issue. Yeah, try swapping them out as soon as you can then
