I suppose that's only fair; go lay on your back and put a pillow over your face, and then imagine it weighs as much as your fridge does. Especially for a creature so used to unrestricted airflow, suddenly being reduced to the occasional wheezing shallow breath, dark spots flickering at the edges of your eyes constantly, must be difficult at best.
