It's incredible just how bad the new games are. I'd love to use mons like Galarian Slowbro, Alcremie, Bellibolt, Dudunsparce or Orthworm but they're just locked to games that do not look fun or aren't worth a replay like SM due to its incessant cutscenes. The franchise really just wants you to move onto next new thing but the moment you stop doing so, you realize just how bad the last few games were
It's as if fanhacks and injecting numons into older engines like Gen III/IV is the only way for this franchise to have enjoyable team building anymore
