>>55444237I think it's more that they're necessary to finally pop the inflated used game market for Pokemon games by actually giving people a cheaper legit alternative. Have you seen the prices people are asking for Pokemon games online? it's ridiculous. Using Nintendo's hatred for re-releases as the perfect way to scam people and make nearly three times the profit per game. Granted this is more of a problem for the DS era titles but the Gameboy titles are still really pricey to the point where 60 dollars for all of them is actually a really good deal.
