I think they should be pretty much used for their intended purpose, which is...yoga.
Anyway. I don't think they're classy, and if they introduced them as a customization option, I'd probably avoid anyone that would wear that, just out of an "I don't think they know what they're doing" sort of bias.
Plus, we all know the only guy who can get away with oddly tight pants is Professor Sycamore. Have you seen how tiny his legs are oh my god.
