Followed by the remakes' failiure PL:A will also be hated for its lack of trainer battles, online and content overall (some normies will like it bc it looks more cinematic).
If what I said becomes true, hopefully pokemon will finally start being good when GF realizes how knees deep into shit they are and hand over the IP to a more conmpetent company or maybe actually putting in effort and a higher budget. In the worst case, after 2 irredeemably awful launches in a row, nobody will care about the 9th gen and Pokemon will then turn into a small money maker for nintendo with small budget and small benefits until it eventually fades away from the public eye and becomes an unused IP like F-Zero or Ice Climbers.
