>>44060217I was really poor as a kid, My parents couldn’t afford to buy me anything. For my birthday I got a book of the first Pokémon movie and that was all but even tho my mum felt bad I really appreciated it. All the kids at school were always trading Pokémon cards and even tho I would’ve been the biggest Pokémon fan there I never had any. One time a kid was asking if anyone wanted his trainer bill card, I jumped at the chance but because he had seen my excitement he then wanted to keep it, thinking it mustn’t have been as worthless as he thought.
When I got Pokémon red version I felt like money didn’t matter anymore, I had access to everything in the game even the richest kids would have. So every moment for me was my favourite in a sense but if I had to pick one.. maybe it was the excitement of first getting through mt. Moon and entering cerulean city. I felt like the adventure was really beginning then. Also I had a massive crush on misty when I was 9.. and I guess I still do now that I’m almost 30 hahaha!
