Given that Creatures Inc./Ape Inc. was the original developer for the Mother series and Nintendo knows Mother is profitable again because of Undertale and Deltarune it's probably safe to say Creatures Inc. was bought by Nintendo as a power move.
Nintendo gets to reclaim the Mother/Earthbound series, and Nintendo gets more shares over TPC.
Game Freak gets cucked again, we might actually get Mother 3 localized now, and Nintendo EPD would make better pokemon games.
