>>44627378There will be a wild area type zones outside the city, and or within dungeons inside the city (the red gate leads into a Kabukicho-inspired area, generic underground/sewer zone, etc). It will be open world-ish with a couple of small contained stories scattered around the city. For example, sorting out a fight between two rival gangs (based on greaser/harajuku fashion).
>>44634103The city isn't actually that big, being only around double the size of large official cities like Goldenrod or Celadon. It is meant to be quite maze-like from the first experience but navigatable when you get used to where certain landmarks. In-game, there are also sign pop-ups for each of the main districts which should help too.
I was hoping the levelled walls going behind buildings weren't too noticeable/makes enough sense in an abstract way. Hopefully, it's a bit less obvious in-game. The broken fence ends bugs me too but unfortunately, I ran out of tile space to polish those.
Any more feedback about the city is really appreciated!
