I got a little cocky with Drake, I thought Posh Dare could take out Salamance with Ice Fang even after the Intimidate, but I was wrong and died from a Dragon Rush. Bay Eels was able to clean up.
I didn't really have a plan for Steven's team, let alone a meme strat like I did with Omega Ruby (Double Shell Smash + White Herb Torkoal), and I was down to only 5 Pokemon. The 2 of Steven's pokemon I was most worried about were Aggron and of course the Mega-Metagross. I knew I wasn't coming out of this unscathed. Up Sell took out the Skarmory whilst it was only able to put up 1 layer of spikes. I left Up Sell in on Aggron, hoping either Bright Powder would force an Earthquake miss or Discharge would paralyze it. Unfortunately neither happened and Up Sell went down. I brought Chad Mime in to finish off the Aggron with a PUP. I was hoping to set up on the Claydoll after it sets up Reflect so I could get +6 with PUP but it got an Earth Power crit which destroyed that plan. Bat Teen came in and Mega'd and took out the Claydoll, and stayed in for the Cradily and Armaldo. Used up one heal on the Armaldo so I could be topped up for Metagross. My only hope was to get the Will-o-Wisp off before it's speed boost from mega. I was able to survive whilst it missed the Meteor Mash. I was able to take it down with a single Hex after that.
That was probably the most stressful champion fight I've had yet.
I think I'm going to take a little break before starting Sun and play a romhack outside of the championlocke. I was thinking of playing Red++
