However, I really hope that the new fairies being shown are almost all incredibly cutesy either for the sake of marketing or just because they aren't fully evolved. More Gardevoir and Xerneas, less Flabebe and Marill.
Not that there's anything wrong with cute Pokemon, but if 90% of the type turns out to be like a miscellaneous "cute" group I'll be sort of upset, if only for wasted potential.
I think I share this opinion with quite a few people, at least on /vp/.
