"Lurk more" is not a "le ebin sekrit club xD" thing, it's a "take the time to learn the culture and rules of a website instead of just asking dumb questions you could find the answer to yourself" thing. I know you're probably fairly entitled and you probably think it's just a bunch of neckbeards lording something over you (you're 70% right on that one), but "lurking more" is the most basic, standard etiquette of the internet.
