I don't really pull much. After the first two years of the game I started saving heavily and skipped most alts because they weren't exciting to me anymore. And I don't care much for meta.
I'll daily pull for limited scouts for characters new to the game to 1/5 because I like collecting everyone's base pair. Sometimes I'll get lucky and don't even need to spend nonpaid, but in some cases I've had to spark.
General pool I can safely skip because most future scouts will have them available anyway. Some of them I like enough to daily pull for though.
I could have a lot more gems saved but in the rare case a favorite of mine gets an alt, I splurge for the immediate 1/5. Then it's candies to 3/5. This will be the case for Fall Iono.
