literally every pokemon game ive played except my first game (emerald) ive always had 5 pokémon with me and sometimes a low-lvl mon i wanted to lvl up when fighting the elite4, but then when i meet the champion is say fuck it and win anyway
if you're gonna use legendaries and all that stuff that is considered shit taste, use 5 mons
