>>51387307It's invalidated because you're using external tools to modify the game and gain resources you are not supposed to have at that point. It's objectively cheating and literally any other community in the planet will unanimously agree, ESPECIALLY if you have a pretense of completing a "challenge", that's just the icing on the cake, because someone casually cheating on their own in a single player game is whatever, they're fucking their game up how they want, but if you go on the internet and you want validation from others about how hardcore you are? About how you completed these "challenges", while illegally modifying the game? Go jump off a cliff to be honest, you deserve nothing. Go save edit in a speedrun and claim your run is valid, go save edit in a Retro Achievements set and claim your badge is valid, go dupe hack in Diablo 2 and claim your character is valid. You will be both laughed out of the building and banned, in any community.
Moreover, this is just the objective cheating topic, there's another topic entirely in that this is missing the point of nuzlockes, which is not to be single player autistic number crunching showdown, but rather to give you emotional attachment to your Pokemon and make their loss hurt you, which does not happen if you cheat in infinite rare candies and treat everything as damage calcs and numbers, you are not only objectively invalidating your "challenge", you are ALSO missing the emotional purpose of what a nuzlocke is, this is the textbook definition of a word this board loves: SOULLESS.
