Mechanics or gameplay that you'd like to see again thread. I'll start.
>The Underground
I spent an unholy amount of hours down there on Platinum. Digging up fossils, evolution stones, farming those little ones to buy useless swag for my base.. good times.
>Pokemon Following
Make it possible, but optional. I thought it was a cut little detail. Also, I want to see more Pokemon in the overworld in general. Instead of just maybe a Skitty or Fletchling in someone's house every now and then.
>B toggles run
So much this. Rollerblades came close, but I like using the old analog dpad over the circle pad..
>Higher difficulty in general
(In before genwunner and such) but the games seem to get progressively easier. Maybe it's because I'm older and understand the mechanics better.. B/W2's challenge mode was a great addition and I wish we'd see something like it again.
>NPCs having more/better Pokemon
I just caught an NPC at the beginning of the game that had ONE level 3 bug Pokemon. In the current area, you could catch the same Pokemon at level 4, 5 and even rarely 6. This urks me. Why would someone have a Pokemon lower level than what even can be caught right where they're standing? This makes zero sense. All NPCs Pokemon should be at least two or three levels higher than whatever is catchable in that area, and they should all have at least two or three, if not more, Pokemon. Why only have, say, one Ratatta, when you could have two.. and a widget.. all at level 5 or 6?
>The same applies to gym lesder/Elite Four but even more so
Gym lesder has three middle stage level 25 Pokemon? Cool, I have a whole team of fully evolved Pokemon in their 30s. That makes sense. Maybe I've been spoiled by Drays game hacks, but all gym leaders and the elite four should have full teams, and be SIGNIFICANTLY tougher then the trainers in their area.
