I beat everyone on the SS Anne except the rival fight. Saving it for tomorrow. I might be getting ahead of myself here but I wonder what gift Pokémon I should choose when I get to Celadon City…

>ClefairyEven without fairy-typing, Clefairy gets an insane amount of moves through TMs. Only downside is that it has to compete with other gift Pokémon for a slot in this nuzlocke.

>PorygonReally neat and has a good movepool but can’t be evolved until the post-game content is finished. He also falls off HARD at the E4 because his stats are so LOW.
>Eevee Flareon doesn’t get Fire Fang or Flare Blitz in this Gen iirc and I already have a fire type in Charizard. Jolteon is good but Zapdos exists and is VERY easy to rig as my Power Plant encounter. Vaporeon, hmm… probably the most optimal decision for Celedon but also the most boring.
