>>35089483>To be 100 with you chief if a mapping problem can't be fixed by realignment and needs actual new tile work it's probably not going to be fixed in the forseeable future unless Swim thinks it's so egregious that he needs to overturn the confirmation vote. Not him, but the map confirmation process allows for changes to maps as long as they are purely tile based even after they are confirmed, that was an intentional, explict part of how the rules were designed: The confirmation only locks down the layout, not switching tiles out or minor facilitatative changes to the maps based around those.
Before I got removed, for example a TON of stuff in map meetings was noted as being stuff to change or fix, but since were tile related, were not done prior to confirmation since they could and were supposed to be done after we got through confirming all the maps before 2.0 was released, but most of the tile stuff never got went over again in time before 2.0 released, based on what i've heard/what i've seen playing 2.0. And since you mentioned feedback surveys, I'll be putting the tile stuff we said would be addressed that wasn't in time for 2.0's release whenever I get around to taking the 2.0 feedback survey (since I;m sure some of you guys forgot some of them).
The thing the other anon pointed out with the gatehouse WAS one of those things. I personally don't think it needs to be done anytime soon since you all aren't planning on releasing another public demo, IIRC, but yeah: Confirmation wouldn't need to be revoked to fix it.
