>>21493989Well, you'd probably be best off just using pre-made assets graphically, there isn't much that you'd have to make. I've made what I've been told are decent sprites in MS Paint (never made a hack, just did it to see if it would turn out well), so a tablet wouldn't really be necessary unless you're designing Fakemon, and many, many people will tell you to avoid Fakemon.

I'm not sure if there's one big .zip that has all the best general tools rounded up, maybe another anon knows.
