>>50331665Male characters are allowed to have more exaggerated (ugly) body types, female characters are not. Pretty much every major female pokemon character has nearly the exact same body type except for Melony and possibly Lenora and Zisu.
I think a lot of the male characters in pokemon are pretty cool and I can see why others might find them attractive. Helps that a lot of the fanart I sometimes see of them is off-model anyways (like a lot of the fanart for female characters).
