Suffered my first loss of the run. Fog in the tower really fucked with accuracy and Rayman went down to a Murkrow/Misdreavus double battle. Only for me to find there wasn't anything I could do in the tower until I got the HM from the town. A totally avoidable death.
I've been running into mostly dupes, but Houndour was an excellent pick up for the run. I generally just defeat the dupes instead of capturing them and then move on. I don't remember where the swamp and snow routes are but I'm dreading them.
