Not mentioned above, but magmar was another bro. He rested in a box while I was in Johto. Another pokebro I met was poliwag, who I eventually evolved into Politoed. He too, was sent to rest in a box. For Hoenn I brought only my starter, now a Magneton. Exploring, and taking on gyms I developed yet a new team. Dusclops stayed with me on my journey to Sinnoh. Before the journey, I got Magmar back from the box to accompany Magneton and Dusclops. Once in Sinnoh, I learned of the items/conditions needed to evolve Magneton, Magmar, and Dusclops. I caught some others along the way to flesh out my team and worked to evolving the three original mons I brought with me. Eventually I succeeded in doing so, and made even further progress with the Pokemon league this time around.
Unova being a strange new land full of tons of new Pokemon, I knew I wanted as much open party space as possible. Magnezone, and I went at it alone leaving behind Dusknoir and Magmortar in the box along with the others mons I have caught up until this point. Unova is a comfy adventure with my Magnezone and new team. I capture some new mons, and obtain some new badges. Kalos is when things get interesting, as working my way through the region I manage to get my hands on a key stone and a Scizorite. Seeing the Scyther I caught way back at the beginning of my journey, now a Scizor mega evolve was a sight to behold. With his newfound power, and of course Magnezone we take on the Kalos league.
