Eeveelutions as a whole have multiple animals incorporated into their design(see "eclectic" in
>>33018367). One of those animals is cats and yes it is a more prominent feature in Espeon's case. But Foxes are also part of Espeon's design and a bigger focus of Eevee's design, therefore it is also valid, not to be confused with more valid. We're both right. I'm not saying cats aren't a design feautre, I'm saying foxes are on the list of animals they're designed after, as well. That's all. Really simple.
...Though converting this into an Espeon thread is honestly the best way this thread can turn out, so I'll agree with you there. I'm okay with this result.
