im mainly making this thread cause i like shedinja and i fucking hate how bad he is. please dont taint this thread with ridiculous power boosts to pokemon, like minmaxing stats to shit (unless it makes sense) or making up an ability. try to use the tools given to you.
anyway:
Shedinja
HP: 1
ATK: 90
DEF: 1 (-44)
SPA: 30
SPD: 1 (-29)
SPEED: 113 (+73)
BST: 236 (+0)
i took away stats in defense and special defense cause they do LITERALLY nothing for Shedinja, and I put it all in speed. I kept the special attack the way it is cause it still learns shit like shadow ball, might as well be able to make SOME use for it in game. this speed would allow shedinja to outspeed most of OU (im using smogon tiers for example) and can just about land a kill on some with a Swords Dance. of course, it still isnt good at all. from my research, this shitmon makes it to about PUBL, NU at best. what is holding shedinja back the most is his typing, making him weak to 5 types (3 of which are fairly common coverage) was a bad idea, even if it makes sense. the best typing for shedinja that would make most sense would be Bug/Steel, being weak only to fire type moves. give it smart strike and like, 20 more ATK (110) and you get a decent
pokemon.it still dies to hail and burn. not GREAT, but better than being complete garbage, which is exactly all i want, a mediocre mon. just imagining, i could see this Shedinja being ranked RU, or even RUBL. of course, a bug/steel wonder guard bug in-game would be a nightmare, so its not really feasible.
anyway, enough of me, i hope you all can make your favorite bad-mons better in some way!
