> Neutral-B: Moonblast/Energy Ball
Like Shadow Ball/Charge Shot, but can also be shot vertically and diagonally. Charges moonblast or energy ball at random, entirely cosmetic.
> Up-B: Gust
Summons a gust from below, throwing Whimsicott up when hit. Gust has a hitbox, and Whimsicott also does when hit, kind of like PK-Thunder without the player input.
> Side-B: Taunt
A bit like Mewtwo's disable, except it makes their character charge a smash attack.
> Down-B: Cotton Guard + Cotton Spore
Gains super armor for a short moment and reducing damage received. Contact moves with Whimsicott will slow attackers.
> Grab: Leech Seed.
Functions like Luigi's, including the Z-air property.
> Up-Smash: Hurricane
> Side-Smash: Dazzling Gleam
> Down-Smash: Nature Power
>Properties
Very light, very floaty, super-slow fall speed, good aerial drift, great frame data, poor damage, bad ground speed.
Whimsicott's jabs are good combo tools and combo-breakers, but are difficult to use in neutral. He is good at racking up damage, but struggles to kill without a Taunt-setup, Neutral-B confirm, or getting a Side-Smash on the ledge. His gameplan primarily consists of Leech Seed harass, charging up Energy Balls and punishing with Cotton Guard. Gust can be used as a landing tool to hit enemies below you, or as a risky way but potent damage tool when grounded.
