>>41025952>Might that be true?I read somewhere that was the case, and honestly, I'm not surprised. When I was a young kid, I didn't really care if Ash won or lost, except for the Pokemon League. I was just in it for the ride, seeing all the different Pokemon, locations and interesting events that take place. I thought Ash was really funny a lot of the time, and him being an underdog made the series more interesting and less predictable to me. But I still wanted him to come out on top in the Kanto/Johto Pokemon League. A reboot would be nice, and this time Ash is competent and serious like Red was, or just ditch him altogether for Red.
Pokemon Chronicles was a little mini-series that had Gold and Kris as the main protagonists.
