The Vainous Team: Neat
The leader is Psychic Buddy, He developed the pokemon boxes for the region and then used crowd funding to fund the development of a virtual battle device inside the box software.
The problem for him though is that you can only use pokemon that you have in the battle system and he is afraid to leave his house. So he hires random neets to capture/steal him pokemon with the remainder of his crowd funding money.
Eventually it becomes a full blown operation and he sets his sights on the legendaries to test the capabilities of his program and be the best trainer in it.
The neets could deliver all the silly lines about taking x-speed, hoodies being comfy and wanting to go home.
There could even be a virtual dungeon with wild Chegrin, Viipii and Vectol.
