>>48997547After defeating fantina, the game becomes a supermarket sweep since you can pretty much run the loop all the way through pastoria and back to hearthome city, picking up a lot of pokemon. Lost some good men on that circuit:
-My Shieldon got bonked by a low kick in a trainer match (I didn't know Elekid could even learn it)
-Tried to get get that 5% Hippopotas in the Ruin Maniac's cave only to catch a face full of self-destruct from a Graveller, taking out my poor Psyduck.
After some grinding, I took Maylene on. Bronzor is such a strong counter to fighting-types that I thought I was on a roll only for Rusty to fall at the last minute (crit on the finishing turn). Also lost Dusclops to a gym lackey; I have no idea what I was going to do with you but your ghost monotype seemed cool.
Contemplating whether I should spam repel again to get the Riolu egg when I get to Iron Island. Lucario seemed pretty broken when I had him on my first run but the other possible encounters are garbage.
