He loses Close Combat and a lot of his coverage moves (Stone Edge, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Poison Jab) that exist in Gen4 and above. He also loses a lot of other good coverage moves to the split (Elemental Punches, Psycho Cut, Leaf Blade, Knock Off).
So, I assume his best set will be a choice banded version with Trick. His mediocre defense is now more decent considering the best STAB move for many flying types is Aerial Ace or HP Flying (Gyarados), and many high-BP moves of Gen4 are removed. He'd still be decent as a specially-bulky wall despite Thunderbolt and Ice Beam still being around, so he might be better capitalizing on his bulk instead.
