>>55082951I used to really avoid using legendaries up until about gen 7, but after a while with the amount of legendaries they dump on you in every games post story content and the frequent display of them not really being that unique (tobias, brandon, that random trainer with a heatran, goh catching a bunch, multiple of them often shown at once in movies or anime episodes, etc.) I stopped letting the distinction bother me. Theres way more trainers with legendaries in the anime than there are ones with shinies for instance and it never bothered me to use multiple of those.
