>>44295775>Does your trainer use any fakemons?Kind of? Brent's able to do this magical fey ritual to give his Pokemon a new type or replace an old one in tandem with his Elemental Classes. Catch is he can only do this twice in his lifetime, so he chose his starter (Lilligant) and the first Pokemon he ever captured (Luxray). The choice for him was to give them either the Fairy or Grass typing, he went with Fairy for both because magic is fun and in terms of game mechanics Grass/Electric Luxray just doesn't really work as hot in a system where pokemon have 6+ moves. Regardless they both got a nice movepool boost and a couple ability changes. From the top of my head:
>Lilligant: Can sense plant, flowers, and nature auras so she knows what a plant needs in the moment and has a greater connection to nature (like a nature spirit or fey forest guardian). Got a bunch of fairy moves like Moonblast, Flower Shield, and Dazzling Gleam. Is now in the Grass & Fairy Egg Group>Luxray: Guts changed to Magic Guard and got a lot of fairy moves. Its also super fluffy now. Is now in the Field & Fairy Egg Group.Luxray didn't get much but it really didn't need the buff, it has X-Ray vision and a super solid movepool overall.
