I also think gen 3 was kinda shit and really overrated, and that the mainline games as a whole aren't all the enjoyable after the first one you play and are incredibly bland and repetitive, and that the Mystery Dungeon games drastically overshadow them in quality and fun as well as story. Well, at least red/blue and time/darkness/sky.
