storyline time:
The gang meets a creepy guy in Mt. Coronet; even Bananas comments on the creepy vibes. Because of an unforseen Buneary accident at Hearthrome, Sampaguita runs off somewhere, so the gang splits up to find him!
Bananas and Violet go off to the church where Bananas has a weird psychedelic dream of everyone singing and dancing like in some crappy Unovan musical that gradually changes into a nightmare of an eldritch creature [i.e. Giratina] devouring the world! Violet is deeply concerned for her, and possibly more <3<3.
Radish and Ironwood are delegated by B.H. to check out the Contest Hall. In a very empathetic move, Ironwood tells Radish he doesn't have to try so hard to be liked by the others before he is accidentally roped into some contests. Radish might take this advice to heart, but he might not...
Clover went off by himself to Amity Square. The hostility between him and B.H. has defrosted into a mostly healthy rivalry, and their latest competition is over who can be the better father figure to Sampaguita, so it's crucial he find the little egg first!
...leaving B.H. and Snapdragon to comb the city in awkward silence. Snapdragon desparately needs a friend, but B.H. is such a nerd that he decides to spend this time talking about battle strategies for Fantina. I guess all friendships have to start somewhere... at least, Snapdragon is in awe of B.H.s' battle knowledge.
Clover ends up retrieving the eggy at the square*, which he's very smug about! Meanwhile, it looks like Sampaguita's got some items he refuses to let anyone else see.
