Try and see what life is like without PoGo. Take walks/rides unrestricted by stop and gym placement (and routes from now). Stop swiping the sweat off your phone and let it lay in your pocket. See what it's like. At worst you'll miss some shitmons and a few grand stardust.
At home just relax and play whatever you feel like playing instead of spending time every day of your life, managing your inventory, gifts and shitmon storage that is designed to keep you playing like a hamster in the wheel. Even worse if you trade with alt for XLs.
In my case I thought it would be harder to quit, but holy shit I really don't feel like I've missed out on anything. And you can always return for something relevant or in case the game gets better (it sure will kek).
