PLA made me pick up my old copy of White and train a team up for the Battle Subway, which I basically ignored the first time I played. Since I'm a fellow Doubles autist, I'm trying to beat Emmet first, but I only beat him on the normal line so far. It's fun putting going through a challenge to get to fight your husbando, at least. The lack of punctuation in the Japanese text makes Emmet sound a bit unhinged compared to the English translation, which I'm into.
