Mora was a lively little girl who liked roaming the woods. She caught one of the little mushmons, and dreamed about evolving it into a fairy ring shroom, and playing with it in sunlit meadows. However, it evolved into a Perishroom instead. She became sickly from spending time with it, and began to become interesting in the "darker" side of the forest, especially poison mons.
basically her gimmick is naive cheery child becomes spooky poison master.
There was idea of her being involved with that Leukoon forest subplot rather than the Elite 4. Also, that she could have red hair instead of blond.
Personally I like her as Elite 4, because her Elite 4 room could be a thick, overgrown meadow room, that gives off the impression of being damp and dark.
