Enough with the Reddit spacing sisters
>>57683894Anyways, you do not need to like playing the games to consider yourself a Pokemon fan. Pokemon is a multimedia franchise, there are multiple ways to engage with it. I myself was only a fan of Pokemon Colosseum and XD up until about a year ago when I began to finish the mainline games (gen 1-7) and some spinoff games. It is not clear to me asking what you are asking.
>Are you asking if you are a TRUE Pokemon fan? The answer to that question is who gives a shit? Who are you trying to gain the approval of? Pokemon has one of the worst fanbases in the world, there is no need to try hard with these "people". >>57683989>I quit buying their shit a long time ago>I spend maybe 70-80 hours on new games when they come out?????
Spending 70-80 hours on a Pokemon game is more dedicated than most Pokemon consumers. I would still consider you a dedicated fan if you are doing that. You are just a resentful dedicated fan, which seems to be what most fanbases are comprised of for established IPs these days.
