Honestly I thought Serena doesn't serve any purpose outside of being a ship bait until Lisia ask her to form an Idol duo with her. I can see her & Lisia as an announcer like Lillian and Hibana trying promote a new worldwide Tournament. Problem is that Lisia will overshadow Serena if she keep using the same performer hairstyle form last episode.
