The line has great typing, and the absolute king of abilities, Unburden. Because of how PMD works, Unburden means every single time you use the A attack or a move, it comes out twice. Think Parental Bond, but the second attack is at 100% power and it works for every single move. This means 2 uses of Minimize per turn, or 2 Shadow Balls fired off per turn, or even better, 2 Ominous Winds to nuke a monster house per turn. Ominous Wind gives the chance for an all statup per TARGET hit, not per use. It's not uncommon for you to use the move on a monster house, and after you regain control, find that you've gotten the all statup 8+ times. In a Level 1 dungeon, nothing even comes close to Drifblim, because at the start of a floor you just use Minimize a few times and laugh as you dodgetank everything, while smacking things with Astonish, which flinches a ton. After 5 uses of Minimize, you have a 90% chance to dodge attacks, on top of having effectively double the offensive ability of every other pokemon in the game.
On top of all of this, the Flying type's 3* swap item permanently sets Drifblim at double speed when the weather's Clear. At max IQ, its A attack comes out 4 times in one turn, it never trips hidden traps, it sees the floor layout, there is literally no downside to Drifblim.
