there might be better out there, but this was a first thing that came to mind without being something already in the thread. it's a real solid example of ambiguity in the creature design - it's built like a kangaroo, but has a weird beak thing. it has a nice balanced three-color palette, not too many and not too few, and they aren't in overly complex patterns. it also has a few more fantastical elements to it that sound like something you'd hear a david attenborough voiceover talk about, like how its arms stretch or how it can spread spores. overall just a very solid design and one that even if it looks rounded and toy-ish compared to the armored and more organically animalistic gen 1 designs, i think does it well enough to not be obviously made for marketing.
