>>21769982It had really varied competitions. It wasn't just normal battles all the time. Each facility had its own gimmick that made it interesting. That being said, beating them all was hard as shit because breeding/IV training was such a chore back then, so a lot of people probably never enjoyed it. I was looking forward to playing through them all with teams of mons bred and trained using the new convenient mechanics.
