I forgot about my rival right before Ilex Forest, but easily handed him an L.
Caught a Paras in Ilex and taught her Cut. I'm not gonna put her on the team because I don't want another Bug type.
I found the Headbutt guy too, so I went back to some of the areas I skipped and caught Aipom, Exeggcute, and Heracross. I'm really diggin' Hide right now, so he is gonna stay on the team instead of Heracross, and Easter the Exeggcute has joined.
Whitney's Gym was pretty easy. Easter was level 16 when facing Whitney and completely wrecked her Clefairy (lv.17) and Miltank (lv.19) thanks to her moveset.
