I've just defeated Erika and the girls of Celadon City's gym.
Pretty much everybody in my team was pretty high level,so I decided to beat her before doing all the rocket Lavender stuff. I've catched a Vulpix that I'm not sure I'll be using but hey,he did pretty good against Erika and Will O' Wisp is a great move.
I don't know,I'd like to do something else but there's not much left in Kanto.
I don't really know how I'll beat Lance with this team but that's the fun of using shitmons. Maybe Kabutops' rock attacks? The kitty cat is still alive and well, his dark type moves will make him pretty useful in the Tower.
>>43115976>>43117721>>43118668Big fucking congratulations Jimbo. Your determination is pretty inspiring
as is your autism,a true virtue.>How do you get by with these shitmons?Consider this : you don't have only one pokémon in your team, you have six.
I try to find some niches where my shitmons can shine, thinking about their movesets in tandem with the others, not by themselves. Chimeco had Psychic and Shock Wave and Yawn,so her role was taking out water and poison types (since her physical def was too low I used Dusclops against Fighting types) and yawning at other for one quick turn before retreating. This actually made me use her quite a few times, more than Luvdisc anyway (who actually fought Drake in lieu of Walrein, that fucker died because lol Sheer Cold OHKO)
Aipom in Crystal had Screech, for some time she used Mud-Slap so others could get in there safely, then she learned Shadow Ball, and by the end of the game she was Baton Passing after buffing her speed with agility.
Electrode had Light Screen and Thunder Wave, these two moves made him EXTREMELY useful. Spinda had a varied set with Rock Tomb,Psybeam,Shadow Ball and Strength, making him a good jack-of-all-trades.
Ditto had Parasect's help, thanks to his Spore.
What I'm trying to say in this wall of text is that you have to understand two things to use shitmons. (1/2)
