Who didn't see this coming? When you have influencers like Alpha Investments, Gary Vee, Jeremy Padawer, and Logan Paul telling everyone they'll get rich off trading cards, this was obviously going to happen.
The sad thing is, no matter what ends up happening, it's not going to end well. Either trading cards end up being a massive bubble like Beanie Babies, or the hype goes on forever and trading cards become a toxic get rich quick scheme like sneakers. Either result will be bad for the trading card industry as a whole.
