Grass Pokemon work with Rangers, farmers, etc. to increase crop supply, heal the forest, and protect nature in the event the resident god mons get uppity over the world being fucked over by gangs.
Psychic Types would probably be extremely restricted with who owns it and could be used by criminals and Law enforcement to mind fuck people, so that'd be a hefty thing to discuss.
I like to think the Starter Pokemon of the regions are a bit more common than seen in the games and anime, specifically because they're so docile and can be raised from birth to aid humanitarian services.
